2302 - Extension of an urban danse school - Urban Move Academy UMA - Phase II

For its third season, UMA is taking root in a venue entirely designed and created to reflect and practice today's urban arts and sports.

Thanks to the support of the Montes Alti Foundation, and after several months' work by architect Alexandre Keller in close collaboration with UMA's director, UMA's students and teaching and artistic teams now benefit from an iconic work tool, with its 7-metre-high urban sliding ramps, parkour modules, dance rooms and facilities for teaching, transmission, creation and interdisciplinarity.

WestPark in Vernier (Geneva) is now home to the famous academy on over 1,200 m2 and already has over 50 young people enrolled (all categories included).

This new impetus will enable the talents of today and tomorrow to reveal themselves even more, and to create under the guidance and impetus of director and choreographer Nicolas Musin, surrounded by urban arts and sports professionals.

As in the past two seasons, there will be numerous public productions throughout the 2024-2025 season.
