1105 - Paku Paku restaurant - Transformation of an existing restaurant - Rue Vautier, 43 in Carouge - Geneva

Complete renovation of a restaurant in the Carouge district.

The design concept was to create a central bar, behind which the cold dishes are prepared in front of the customers. The kitchen's technical area (dishwashing and preparation) was concealed in the rear of the restaurant. The rest of the space is defined by the dining room tables. Staff changing rooms and restrooms are located in the basement.
The interior demolition revealed and highlighted a Meillerie stone facade. The existing window frames were preserved and repainted black.
